An educator by profession, Dr. Allen has 30 years of experience in higher education teaching and administration. Over the years, she has been instrumental in establishing educational institutions including Christian educational institutions. She is the founder and president of Destiny Christian University, an outreach of New Hope World Outreach.
Dr. Allen’s greatest love is the study and teaching of the Word of God. Over the years, she taught numerous courses imparting her love of the Word to her students. As Senior Pastor, Dr. Allen ministers in the areas of teaching, the prophetic, intercession, and deliverance bringing "hope to hurting people." God uses the strength and breadth of experiences in Dr. Allen’s life to his advantage.
Within the last year, God has given Apostle Allen another love, writing. She has written her first book, Forty Days of Prayer. The book leads the readers through a wonderful life changing journey that helps them develop a closer and more intimate relationship with God through prayer. After each chapter, the reader can make journal entries to indicate how the strategies may be applied.
In addition to being an author, Dr. Allen is a motivational speaker, grant writer, facilitator and businesswoman. She conducts seminars in leadership development, grant writing, building relationships, church governance, church management, the Holy Spirit, Faith, Intercessory Prayer, grant writing, and many others. Added to Dr. Allen’s accomplishments in life are two beautiful daughters,
Stephanie a veterinarian in Ft. Lauderdale and Chandria a research analyst in Maryland.
